Meanwhile, I had caught COVID-19 without showing any symptoms. It was time to return to normal life. At first, I thought about going to the Caribbean and renting a boat for a week. However, the weekly charter cost was about the same as our yearly catamaran expenses, so renting seemed uneconomical. “Let's send G-Force,” I said. Then my friends suggested, “Why don't we go along with G-Force as well?” After posting my messages, I began planning with friends who expressed interest. A quick decision was made, and the five-person crew settled on dates to cross from Las Palmas to Antigua.
