Come With Me

I do not know when it began, but I remember very clearly the first moment I noticed it, about two weeks ago. When I came home from work and we embraced, my head failed to rest against his chest and instead struck the icy metal buckle of his leather belt. I waited for him to clasp my back and pull me close, but instead he began to stroke my hair gently. I sensed that something was wrong. There was nothing to worry about, I told myself…. “Come with Me” by Vivian Kohen is flecked with tales of raw emotion. It is a charming read, sprinkled with fascinating and, to me, mysterious Turkish customs. I was wholly engaged by Vivian's imaginative storytelling and captivated by her wit. Joan Henriques Vivian Kohen's stories are imaginative, suspenseful, and intriguing. Her writing is vivid and powerful. I always want to read more. Annette Shaw
