Pınar Kılıç Ateş graduated from the Department of Foreign Language Education at METU in 2009. She holds MAs in Human Resources Development in Education from METU and in Curriculum and Instruction from Bilkent University. Since 2010, she has been working at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, where she has served as a member of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit since 2018. Her professional interests include adult education, educational philosophies, language assessment, assessment literacy, and designing training programs. In addition to her academic work, she has retold the storybooks The Little Black Fish and Heidi. Between 2009 and 2010, she worked at Yardley Gobion Primary School in Northampton, England. She holds an MA in English Language Teaching from METU and has been teaching at TOBB University of Economics and Technology since 2010. She served as a member of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit between 2011 and 2025 and currently works in the Curriculum and Material Development Unit. In 2022, she also completed a degree in Home Economics from Anadolu University's Faculty of Open Education. Her professional interests include item writing, assessing four skills, and material development. She has also retold the storybooks Alice in Wonderland and Robin Hood.
